If only some users within a group upgrade, it becomes difficult to share files back and forth. If you plan to update to InDesign CC 2015 and need to share InDesign files with other colleagues, it is best for all collaborators upgrade at the same time. One of the biggest risks of updating to InDesign CC 2015 is the inability to easily share files with users who are working with earlier versions of InDesign, even InDesign CC 2014.
